Jason C. Bennett

         Mr. Bennett is the founder and Managing Partner of Sage Development LLC. He has been a successful developer and real estate agent for the past ten years.  His development projects have included three in Laguna Beach, California; one in Newport Beach, California; three in the San Francisco Bay area, and four in Sun Valley, Idaho.  Mr. Bennett also has developed a 30 acre residential neighborhood in Star, Idaho and is currently developing a 16.24 acre commercial project in Eagle, Idaho.  He has expertise in all aspects of development. Including parcel identification, deal structuring, procurement, due diligence, build out, and liquidity.  With an eye for details and creative vision, Mr. Bennett is an ideal fit to service the development needs of the Treasure Valley.

            Prior to forming Sage Development in 2004, Mr. Bennett worked for EMC Corporation, where he was the Executive Vice President of Business Development for their Media and Entertainment business unit.  Focusing on marketing, partnering, and deal negotiations, Mr. Bennett was able to help drive the region to over sixty million dollars in sales.  Prior to his role as Executive Vice President, Jason was one of the founding members of EMC’s Venture team.  He was responsible for sourcing market expansion, managed service, and core technology investments for EMC’s five hundred million dollar venture fund.  As a venture capitalist, Mr. Bennett was a featured panelist for the Tech Coast Venture Network, Corporate Investment and Strategic Alliance conference, and Venture Net 2001.  Prior to EMC, Jason worked at the Meta Group where he performed high-level strategy sessions with CEO’s, Senior Vice President’s, and other executives at clients such as Hewlett Packard, Peoplesoft, Tibco, Sybase, and SGI. Prior to the Meta Group, Mr. Bennett spent five years of his career with Accenture, Marsh, and the Guardian.
